Because great relationships are built on trust and communication, it’s also important for you to be open and honest with us about your needs and concerns.
Every investor is different, bringing a unique set of goals, constraints, expectations and portfolio holdings to the planning process. We begin with you and your hopes for the future. During this exploratory conversation, we will ask questions like: What kind of lifestyle do you expect your investments to support? How much income will you need or do you need? What do you like and dislike about your current financial situation? How often do you prefer to meet to discuss your strategy and financial outlook?
We will also discuss our strengths and let you know what to expect if we decide to work together. Together, we will decide if it makes sense to continue the process. This meeting normally lasts between 30 and 90 minutes. If you are married, your spouse should be included in the conversation.
Before we meet again, we will take the things that you told us are most important to you and design an initial plan based on your objectives and reflecting our expertise, experience, and independent research. At this second interview we will discuss our analysis, initial recommendations, and the steps necessary to begin.
